When your friend is Sarah Roberts, you're rich. You're rich, because she is rich. She is rich with talent, dripping with it actually. She is rich with beauty. All sorts. Her outside beauty will stop you dead in your tracks, and Then when your eyes have those little X's on them her beauty within will drag that dead on the tracks you in, and revive you with her warmth and charm and southern dialect. Oh, and her huge heart, and soul. Sarah is brimming with soul. And she speaks to mine. She has from day one. She sings to it. Regardless of when she is singing, it heads straight to my soul. I cannot describe her voice with anything that helps express it other than it is truly lovely. It snatches you, quickly, and with everything a willingness to be snatched is up for.  I am rich. I am rich and blessed to call her my friend. She blows me away, while she welcomes me. (Bitch)

ep36 Your Kin is her focus.

Another doer. Another golden example of dreams in action. I am getting super good at spotting these types. They are bold. They are strong. They aren' necessarily fearless, but they don't let fear get comfortable around them. They may or may not have vision, bt they always have a desire, and desire has antsy feet. It was to go and do and be. And these doers see to that it happens. This episode focuses on Amy. She's usually the one bringing things into focus. This young entrepreneur took her art and craft and built a beautiful business capturing photos of your family. She is a doer. And oh how I do love her.

Among many other things, Jeff Mullen is a throw back to the beloved Rat Pack of sultry swooners. This man can SANG. But, theres those "other things"... those things that make you go "hmmm". Jeff is my good, long time friend. He also is a doer. He doesn't hold back. He knows the struggles of life, and he is really great at assessing his own, and then addressing his own. And along the way, Jeff finds a way to inspire and encourage, as he has for me. And as is my usual way, I am compelled to share with you those that move me. Jeff moves me with his wisdom, fearlessness, and absolutely his talents.

One time was not enough. Rewind with me to one of my favorite episodes featuring one of my most loved people on the planet.

February 7th, 1987, my family lost it's corner stone. My father, Doug Summers passed away at the far too young age of 47. We just crossed over the 34 year mark of his passing. So, I thought it would be fitting to rewind to the episode with my brother Mark. Mark looks so much like my dad. Laughs like my dad. Works hard like my dad. Sometimes, feels like my dad with his presence. Here's to 34 years without this man in our lives, and many more years with this other man in mine. Mark, you're the man.

When "Do It"gets "Done"

Sometimes my truth, my struggle slaps me in the face. Last weeks year end closing episode left me with my own personal clarity that if possible, leave nothing you can do right now, today, for tomorrow. I encouraged you, along with myself to, deeply listen to your hearts desires, and without delay, "Do It".

Without much forethought in the recording of that episode, I knew that this would be a theme for me and even my podcast into the new year of 2021. And wouldn't you know, like the smoothness of butter, my life and relationships stepped up tp roll into that new mantra of Do It, with perfect examples of the heart of the "Do It challenge".  Today, I share with you my friend Lori Cooney, who took on that challenge of "do It" in one of the most challenging ways, and shares with us her journey. It will inspire, encourage, and motivate you to "Do It".
