You'll Drool
Monday Oct 05, 2020
Monday Oct 05, 2020
This episode as its turned out, was not the one I planned to have, originally. But when lovely unexpected surprises happen, you make room for them. My cousin Hugh came into the town and surprised us. He treated us, me, to dinner. Not just any dinner, mind you. This very well may have been the meal of my lifetime. So, in this episode I share about my life with my cousin Hugh, and then review as best as I could through my own drool, recounting this meal I speak of with verve. Just listen in yourself. You'll see what I mean.

Ep16: One Cool Cat, This Ron May Be!
Monday Sep 28, 2020
Monday Sep 28, 2020
Ron May makes me a tad nervous. Why? He makes me nervous because he is so good at what he does. It's likely awe and respect fueling my moderately managed pockets of fearfulness, that results in nervousness. I digress. Because I'm nervous. I can talk a lot when I'm nervous.
But, actually, Ron is so stinkin' interesting I was sort of naturally (or unnaturally, considering) a bit more lean on words. I was so emotional throughout. I think I was rooting for him as I was discovering he was well beyond my cheers. It took me the interview to catch up. He is just someone I could sit and listen to and ask questions of, for hours and hours on end. I am praying that I won't stalk him now. "Accidentally" bumping into him at his favorite lunch spots, as I happen to have an empty chair at my table... that I've been sitting and waiting at since they opened at 11:00... eyes fixed on the door so I don't miss him. Yeah, hope I don't do that. Oh hoho I would so love to. I just hope for him I don't. But, don't be surprised, Ron. Just sayin'.
I can't wait to listen again with you all.
Thank you Ron May. So much.
Umm. You said you like Indian food?

Ep14: It's a bird! It's a plane! NO! It's Michael Sample!
Monday Sep 14, 2020
Monday Sep 14, 2020
My life has been so effected by this friend. I have been inspired. Have been comforted. I have been filled with joy. I have experienced unconditional love. I have been seen. I have been supported. I have been a priority. I have been befriended. I have been taught. I have been inspired. Did I say that? I have been, and continue to be inspired. My friend, Michael, is a do-er. He does things. He is passionate. He is moved to make a difference. Listen and learn and be inspired by all that he has been driven to do and be and extend, in love, to the world.

Because I've got stuff to say. An episode with me and me and you. Guestless, but not gutless. I share from my heart with little restriction. Because I've got stuff to say.
Here's a link for my book that is mentioned in this episode.

Episode 10: Ben Tyler: "Sad, in a way."
Monday Aug 17, 2020
Monday Aug 17, 2020
This episode's title is a bit of an inside joke. I reference it in this podcast, so if your curiosity has bit the baits, you'll find your soon enough. It's just a listen away. And along with that listen is 45 minutes or so with one of Arizona's great creatives. Ben Tyler is a writer, a director, and actor, a comedienne, and an Arizona historian of sorts. All this is in this episode. But what is only touched on is the great capacity this man has to make me laugh. He never fails. I don't think it is a venture he takes on, but it is the result of his natural wit, humor and timing that just does it to me and does it for me. I laugh at Ben. He makes me laugh. And I gotta tell ya, I love him so much for that. That, and so many other reasons. Meet Ben Tyler.

Episode 9: A MOOve to Politics
Monday Aug 10, 2020
Monday Aug 10, 2020
What motivates a dairy farmer to become a politician? In her case, the motivation to move to politics had everything to do with the life she had led to that point. It was a love for agriculture. A love for protecting what is vital and dear. A love for her community. A love for her country. And, deeply rooted in her faith, it was and is a love for her neighbor as herself. Sine Kerr is a delight. Her sweet spirit will ring through the airwaves, as she tells a true story of American pride and devotion.

Episode 8: The Wright Stuff
Monday Aug 03, 2020
Monday Aug 03, 2020
.His name is Tim Wright, and he's right, more often than not. A pastor, an author, a podcaster, and an advocate for boys, Tim has so much to offer a good conversation. I believe that is indeed what we had, right here on this podcast, one good, packed full, conversation. He opens up about his own pursuit of understanding racism, and the things that might trip us all up. He shares from his experiences and knowledge on the betterment of boys. He speaks about his faith in Jesus, and what that calls us to do and be in our world. He speaks about love and grace that makes all that possible.
You may not agree, nor connect with, or even care about the same things he shares of, but I am certain you will be thoroughly engaged.

Episode 7: Through The Lens Of Her Heart
Monday Jul 27, 2020
Monday Jul 27, 2020
I enjoy having my picture taken. My first professional headshot session with a photographer in Hollywood was when I was 4 years old. When I connect with a photographer, I CONNECT WITH A PHOTOGRAPHER. You don't swap out chemistry when you find it.
Then came Reg. She is my photographer, yes. But she so quickly and beautifully became my friend. I am just honored to know her. I am even more honored to share her with you through my podcast. She is an amazing photographer, no doubts. But the word amazing covers her whole gamut.
Check out her stuff. Instagram @regmadision.
Thank you Reg Madison. So Much.
